the wonder of privacy.:

I am now chilling at an internet cafe in South Beach in Miami. My flight is tomorrow at 8 in the morning, so I just got a cheap ass hotel and am now just going to relax here for abit before i head home tonight. I first thing I said to myself when I went off the ship was "I can't fucking wait to get home and sleep in my bed!"

I don't know why, but I'm getting abit homesick. Either that or because I just partied way too hard. I was fucking living it up on the ship. Finally got to meet the people from the cruise message board and they are the most awesome people that I've ever met.

I will go into more details of the cruise when I get home, with photos and all (which, amazingly, I didn't take alot because I was too lazy to lug a camera around the ship)... but I just wanna bitch about something right now, if it's not too soon. And I will be really vague, so just use your imagination.

I'm sure you have an idol or someone that's close to one. It may sound like a big shock to you, but most rockstars are fake. And most fans are just too biased to figure it out sometimes, especially when you're idolising someone because they're 'hot'. I like musicians because of the way they can get my attention through music and their personality somewhat, but getting testimonials through 'die-hard fans' leaves so much to be desired.

It's so disappointing to find out that the people you idolise are actually big time assholes. There, I said it. I'm not going to name names, but it's pretty obvious, if you know me well enough. And that person is actually tainting my love for the band that he plays for. I know it's not fair to assume things because I heard it through the grapevine, but there has been loopholes somewhere and now it's all adding up. It makes sense, so I actually believe it.

South Beach is fucking hot as hell, although the breezes are extremely cool and dry. It's like Singapore, only slightly cooler. The sun beats down on you pretty bad, but get in the shade and you'll be just fine. It's almost like Mars... extreme difference when it comes to in and out of the sun. I was with a friend from the cruise until about an hour ago when she had to go off to catch her flight. So I'll be alone until I check out of my hotel in like 12 hours or something. I'd probably just go to the nearest Starbucks down the road and chill some more... or just keep walking around until I get really tired and pass out on the bed.

Well, I can't wait to get back home to relax for a few more days and then work my ass off for the rest of the year.

Oh and they announced that there's going to be the same cruise in 2009. You know what... I'm definitely going to work my ass off to get there... I can't disappoint all the wonderful people that I've met. Goodbye Miami, hello sunny Singapore.
